After the success of the level 1 sessions, and the growing needs of scientists, AVIESAN, IFB and Inserm are launching EBAII level 2 in 2021. From 25 to 28 May 2021, at the Roscoff Biological Station, the first session of this level 2 school will be held, dedicated to the advanced processing of genomic data obtained by high-throughput sequencing.
The course is aimed at biologists (engineers, doctoral students, researchers, teacher-researchers, practitioners, etc.) directly involved in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) projects. This edition of the school addresses new technological issues: it will be structured around three thematic workshops in parallel session (RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, DNA-seq variants), and will address data visualization and integration. The school aims at deepening the concepts, manipulating advanced computer tools and interpreting the results. It is based on an alternation of short theoretical sessions and practical workshops. Participants will receive personal tutoring to develop their analysis plan and take the first steps to process their own data or that of their team.
