2 December 2020
Biology is undergoing a major technological transformation with the production of massive data enabling a new understanding of molecules, genomes, cells, organisms and environments. This change calls for a reinforced mobilisation of data science and artificial intelligence (SD-IA) for biology. In this context, the Scientific Councils of the National Institutes of Biological Sciences and Information Sciences and their Interactions are organising a prospective symposium by videoconference on 2 December 2020. The objective is to identify the needs and resources of the scientific community at the interface between SD-IA and biology, in order to make recommendations to our institutes on the main areas to be strengthened and the necessary investments.
